EXAMINATION SYSTEM
SCHEME OF EXAMINATION AND PROMOTION
The academic year is divided into terms. In order to develop in the students a habit for regular studies, the two terms include two rounds of unit test and projects in addition to half yearly examination and annual examination. Besides this, an internal assessment will be made throughout the year on the basis of class assignments. The final report and the promotion for classes KG to VIII will be based on student’s performance throughout the year.
The performance shall be weighed as follows:
· PA-I- 10%, PA-II- 10%, SAI- 30% = Total 50%
PA-III- 10%, PA-IV- 10%, SA- II- 30% = Total 50%
Grand Total = 100%
· Pass percentage for classes up to IX & X: To pass an examination candidate must obtain no less than 35% marks in each subject and an aggregate of 40% but failed in one subject by not more than 5 marks will be eligible to take supplementary examination in failed subject.
'RELATIVE GRADING' SYSTEM 2024.
The system of "Relative Grading" adopted by the CBSE for awarding subject wise grades to the candidates in class X & XII examination along with thw marks secured by them in each subject has already been circulated vide circular No CBSE/CE/coord/2021 dated 21 feb 2021.
EXAMINATION SYSTEM FOR HIGHER CLASSES
Remodeled assessment structure effective from the academic year 2024-25
Total Marks 100 for each subject
80 Marks board examination ( Students has to secure 33% marks out of 80 in each subject )
20 Marks internal assessment ( Students has to secure 33% marks out of overall 20 marks enmarked in each subject )
Break of internal assessment are as
Periodic test : 10 Marks
Notebook submission : 05 Marks
Subject enrichment activity : 05 Marks
